Industrial aerfoil (AF) blowers and fans are supplied with aluminum wheel or corten wheel to meet requirements of AMCA A, and AMCA B spark resistant construction. Mild steel wheels are of all welded construction. If higher pressure is required wheel can be furnished of high strenght steel. Stainless steel wheel in 304 SS, 316 SS, 316 SS, 2205 SST are supplied for corrosive applications, or high temeparature applications. The pressure curve remains stable at the top are of the fan curve and to the right of the pick point.

SWSI and DWDI  industrial aerofoil fan blowers are supplied in welded heavy gauge steel construction to prevent flexing at high pressure. Canada Blower centrifugal fans are available in direct drive arrangements 4 / 4V/ 4H / 7 / 8 and belt drive arrangements 1 / 3 / 9. CB airfoil fans are available in single width single inlet (SWSI), or double width double inlet (DWDI). Capacities: to 500,000 CFM. Static pressure up to 50 inches water gauge depending on the class of construction. Typical class of construction is Class 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.

Supply air or clean exhaust application is ideal for Canada Blower SQA airfoil fans. For dirty air or dusty air, the Buffalo Blower SQB version with backward inclined blades is recommended. The SQA is also suited for high temperature gases handling as well as for air conveying applications.
Inlet flanges, outlet flanges, companion flanges are  continuosly welded to match ANSI class 125/150, DIN, ISO, or custom hole pattern. Shaft seal and low leakage construction can be furnished with shafting straightened to close tolerance to minimize "run-out" and ensure smooth operation. Teflon shaft seal, ceramic shaft seal and lubricated shaft seals (Buna, Teflon, Viton) are standard. Red silicone gasketing is provided for low leakage construction and for high temperature construction. Heavy-duty spherical roller bearings are standard.

Heat fan construction goes up to 1000 F and includes high temperature paint, shaft cooler, shaft-cooler guard, and steel wheel, or alloy wheel. Cladding for sound attenuation and silencers consists of 2 inches mineral-wool insulation covered with a welded steel jacket. As an inexpensive alternative is offered slide-on acoustic cloth jackets. Inlet silencer/outlet silencer are supplied with matching flanges for further attenuation of the noise level.

Inlet filter assemblies available are available too: cell type, 1 inch, or 2 inch filters are available with filter cabinet to be mounted at fan inlet. Bird guard, insect screen and weather hood are optional accessories with inlet filter package.

Backward Curved Fans – Efficiencies nearly as high as the airfoil design. However, single-thickness metal blades prevent the possibility of dust particle buildup inside the blade. These fans can be built with long-lasting erosion-resistant liners. The robust design allows high tip-speed operation, and therefore this fan is often used in high-pressure applications. This design frequently offers the best compromise for long life and high efficiency.

Backward Inclined Fans – Simple flat blades, but backwardly inclined to match the velocity pattern of the air passing through the fan wheel, which results in high-efficiency operation. These fans are typically used in high-volume, relatively low-pressure, clean air applications.

Radial Blade Blowers – Flat blades oriented in a radial pattern. These rugged fans offer high pressure capability with average efficiency. They are often fitted with erosion-resistant liners to extend the rotor life. The housing design is compact to minimize the floor space requirement.

Forward-Curved Radial Tip Fans – This rugged design is used in high-volume flow rate applications when the pressure requirement is rather high and erosion resistance is necessary. It offers medium range efficiencies. A common application is the dirty side of a baghouse or precipitator. The design is more compact than airfoil, backward curved or backward inclined fans.

Paddle-Wheel Blowers – This is an open impeller design without shrouds. Although the efficiency is not high, this fan is well suited for applications with extremely high dust loading. It can even be offered with field-replaceable blade liners from ceramic tiles or tungsten-carbide. This fan may also be used in high-temperature applications.

Forward-Curve Fans – This “squirrel cage” impeller generates the highest volume flow rate (for a given tip speed) of all the centrifugal fans. Therefore, it is often the smallest physical package available. It is commonly used in high-temperature furnaces.

Tube Axial Fan
A tube axial fan has a disk type impeller
contained in a cylindrical enclosure. The
impellers are made of cast aluminum, steel,
or stainless steel, materials that are capable
of withstanding high temperatures. The
blades are welded to a hub at angles varying
between 30o and 50o and are precision
balanced to ensure smooth operation. The
performance of an axial fan depends on the
design of the impeller and the housing; this is
true of most industrial fans.

Vane Axial Fan
A vane axial fan is a disk type fan in a cylinder
with air guide vanes positioned before or
after the impeller. They are capable of
operating for long periods of time even when
exhausting smoke and have a high
temperature motor and motor cooling
system. Their blades are made of steel with
balanced corrections and a control box for
remote control. Vane axial fans have high
temperature resistance, a balanced 􀃖ow, and
little to no vibration.
Variable Pitch Fan
Variable pitch industrial fans are axial fans
with adjustable impeller blades that are built
to operate in a variety of fan applications. The
design of the fan allows for the changing of
the blade angle while the rotor is in motion.
Variable pitch fans come in single and double

stage varieties with single stage fans having
one propeller and double stage fans having
two propellers. The change of pitch in a
variable pitch fan is accomplished by the hub
spring, diaphragm, blade shafts, rotary air
joint, and valve positioner.
